French blogger and globe trotter, François Xavier Delmas, discovered an unusual speciality during his travels in Nepal. In houses, and in farms, he came across ‘strange objects that hung like washing on the line.’ In investigating further, he found out that these strange objects were in fact cheese! These cheeses are hung and left to dry, until they become very hard. After finally cutting them, they must be left to soften in the mouth for a long time. You’ve got to have a lot of patience to eat this cheese!
